Dr. Tate is a native of Columbus and the Sharon Woods community. Upon graduating from Columbus Alternative High School in 1994, she attended Spelman College in Atlanta, GA and earned a Bachelor's of Science Degree in biology. While at Spelman she was a Bonner Scholar, in the glee club, and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Dr. Tate graduated from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. Her professional career consisted of working several years in public health dentistry. In addition, she previously served as an adjunct faculty member for The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, and as an adjunct instructor for the Dental Hygiene Department at Columbus State Community College.
Dr. Tate is proud to serve the community she grew up in. She promotes education in preventive oral care, and wants to make sure patients have an understanding of their oral care needs.
If you are hesitant about having dents work give Dr Tate’s office a call. I’ve been working with them for a couple years now and every appointment is great. From the moment you walk in you’re treated like family. Dr Tate is very gentle and listens to your needs. The whole staff is a blast and I’m lucky to have them as my dental provider. ☺️🤓
